While working under Philippe Baumann at Baumann Architecture, the opportunity to work alongside him on a mountain home came about. He and I worked on a scheme consisting of 3 volumes, one which housed a master bedroom, office, and bathroom, one with a small bedroom, and one serving as the living room and kitchen space. The exposed circulation allows for maximum exposure to the mountainous site. The project is titled Grindelwald, named after a village in the Swiss Alps. Over the course of two years, Philippe and I spent countless hours working on the design, the final result is something he and I are very proud of and serves as the glue for the bond we share.
